Hannah Shushtari Ruddock, M.A., CCC-SLP
Speech-Language Pathologist
Ms. Ruddock is a certified, licensed speech-language pathologist who is completing her Wilson Reading SYstem training this fall. She received her bachelor’s degree in Linguistics from Georgetown University. She then taught at Laurel School in Shaker Heights where she quickly realized how much she values working collaboratively with caregivers and spending her days working one-on-one with children. Hannah went on to receive her master’s in communication sciences and disorders from Case Western Reserve University. She trained at University Hospitals and Akron Children’s Hospital. She was awarded the Outstanding Graduate Student Award by the Ohio Speech Language Hearing Association. Hannah received a grant from the state of Ohio for advanced training and certification in Early Intervention. Hannah then completed her Clinical Fellowship at Cleveland Hearing & Speech Center with a focus on stuttering and continued her work at Akron Children’s Hospital.
Hannah’s experience includes diagnosis and treatment of children and adolescents with communication difficulties as a result of phonological and articulation disorders, language disorders, autism, traumatic brain injury, executive dysfunction, Childhood Apraxia of Speech and stuttering. Hannah’s approach emphasizes strengths, fosters self-acceptance, and tailors therapy to each child’s needs, promoting meaningful communication in all its forms.
