With one 20-minute animated test, the Well Screening is a proactive online screener that measures and monitors growth in speech, language, and learning skills (designed for preschool, kindergarten, and entering first grade children between the ages of 4.5 and 7.0 years of age). The screener was developed for individual, classroom, and district administration to identify young children who may be “at risk” for developmental language disorders, dyslexia, ADHD, social communication disorders, dyscalculia, and/or speech sound disorders. The screener is also used as a baseline and monitoring tool for all children. Use of the screener has been shown to reduce the number of students requiring Individual Education Plans (IEP’s). The screener identifies areas of strength as well as areas that need bolstering. |
